As part of their trip up to Lancashire to perform on the British stage at the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, Porter were also invited to perform for BBC Radio Lancashire‘s Sally Naden before a local audience as part of the trip.
The band performed ‘Hanging On’ and ‘Out of My Hands’ from their album Can’t Keep Still and was broadcast live along with an interview between Gary and Sally that saw him talk about his early career. He spoke of his influences including Dr. Feelgood and Eddie and the Hotrods and how they inspired him to get into the music business including and the upcoming festival appearance.
