As part of their UK Stone Chucker Tour, Porter play Touchline Live at Hullbridge Sports Club in Hockley, Essex on Friday 29th November 2013.
The gig sees a new addition to the band’s brass section Mr. Joe Green on saxophone (nephew of Fleetwood Mac legend Peter Green), alongside our very own Dave Barlow. The band fronted by songwriter Gary Porter also includes the multi-talented Dave Melling on keys and occasional trumpet plus the rhythm section comprising of the impeccable Geoff Conway on upright bass and ex ‘Sensational Alex Harvey Band‘ drummer Phil Mount.
Those of you in the Essex area who love the blues along with jazz & ska touches, should definitely check out this new line-up in preparation for their upcoming album Stone Chucker. This upcoming album promises more of the same from the debut Can’t Keep Still but with a further tilt towards the blues.
